Gayathri Ramprasad, MBA, CPS
Gayathri Ramprasad is an award-winning mental health advocate and Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) who has been trained by the nationally recognized Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) in partnership with the Georgia Peer Support Certification Project.
Gayathri has struggled with recurrent anxiety, panic attacks and depression since she was 18 years old. Her successful battle in overcoming life-threatening mental illness and her amazing recovery taught her the power of hope and holistic healing in overcoming chronic illness. Now, she mentors individuals affected by mental disorders and their families to overcome barriers to recovery and achieve wellness. Gayathri believes that inherent in every person is the power to heal and thrive in life. She helps people create personalized wellness action plans, provides culturally-responsive referrals and resources, and offers ongoing support to help them create a life of meaning and purpose.

Lilly Glass Akoto, LCSW
Lilly Glass Akoto is a licensed clinical social worker who obtained her MSW degree in 1996 and licensing status in 2005. She has lived with intense and debilitating depression from elementary age to her mid-thirties. Through her struggle, she has managed to consistently work, earn her master’s degree, marry and have children. She comes from a strengths-based perspective and believes that through the most horrific of circumstances, there is light, hope and goodness. Her expertise is in helping people see their value, own their choices and take authority over their lives. Her compassion and empathy are boundless and are the driving forces behind the support and optimism she gives so freely to others.
